DescriptionGreat Opportunities for part-time Psychiatrists OR full-time (payrolled) Psychiatrists with full, comprehensive benefits! Oasis Rehabilitation Center is looking for a few experienced, part-time or full-time Psychiatrists to evaluate patients in an adult acute-care psychiatric facility and community-based Transitional Age Youth (TAY) setting. Located in Indio, CA near the beautiful desert community of Palm Springs, Oasis Rehabilitation Center consists of a 16-bed Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF), outpatient Crisis Stabilization Unit and comprehensive community-based mental health programs. Reporting to Oasis Rehabilitation Center’s Administrator, our adult Psychiatrists are responsible for the evaluation and triage of psychiatric patients who come through our crisis center or PHF, initiation of medication, interface with local medical hospital emergency rooms and law enforcement, and to provide periodic reports to the Administrator on patient care, utilization, etc. Our TAY Psychiatrists are responsible for psychiatric assessments, management of medication regimens, and coordination of care with an outpatient multidisciplinary treatment team. Full-time Psychiatrists would have the opportunity and responsibility for working with both populations. Ideal Psychiatrist candidates should be Board Certified with at least 2 years of post-residency experience. These are either part-time, independent contractor positions with a competitive hourly rate of pay and possible opportunities to supplement income with night and/or weekend call OR full-time (payrolled) positions with comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, life, 401k with match, generous PDL, supplemental health benefits, etc. Our health care benefits are free at the employee level.
