DescriptionUnder the direction of the Director of EMR Program, the EMR Technician is responsible for regular set up and maintenance of EMR programs, management of staff changes, and deletions of documentation in the EMR for all programs. Essential duties of the position are to provide EMR training to staff and external partners, coordinate all changes made in the EMR, and manage the various EMR Operations meeting agendas and minutes. The EMR Technician will also be responsible for any tasks assigned by the Director of EMR Program not limited to the tasks stated above. Travel to provide on-site support and training mandatory.

MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS:

Education:

-High school graduate or equivalent required and one year of general office, finance experience required.

-Associate degree in office management, certificate or other related field of study is preferred.

Experience:

-One (1) year EMR experience required.

-One (1) year experience in human service population.

-Prior QA experience required.

License or Certification:

-Valid California Driver License with clear DMV Report.

-Medical Terminology Certification preferred, but not required.
