| Description | Oasis Rehabilitation Center is looking for an experienced Director of Quality Management (DQM). Located in Indio, CA. Oasis Rehabilitation Center is a multi-service psychiatric program with an acute care Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF), a Crisis Stabilization Unit, and comprehensive community-based mental health programs. Reporting directly to our Center's Administrator, the DQMT ensures that systems of quality assurance are carried out within all aspects of our mental health programs.
A list of primary responsibilities include:schedules committees for the Company’s QA program and participates and documents committee functions; participates in facility and records audits (internal and external) and correction/improvement plans; works closely with Medical Records in reviewing medical records for completeness and medical necessity requirements.
Qualifications:
BA/BS with Masters Degree preferred,CA License (MFT, LCSW, LVN, RN, etc.),5+ years mental and/or behavioral health experience, preferably in an in-patient setting, 3+ years direct clinical and/or psychiatric nursing experience. Experience in a leadership role with formal supervisory experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, training, and clinical or nursing skills, strong knowledge and background in mental health treatment including experience in Evidence Based Practices.
