This year, Juneteenth is more meaningful than ever. We honor this day and celebrate at this time with care and concern for our Black employees, knowing you are experiencing incredible pain, anguish, and anger. And we do so in hope, that through the Black Lives Matter Movement, protests will bring meaningful and lasting change. These protests just became the largest and most sustained protests in 50 years, comparable to those against the war in Vietnam. Those protests of the 60’s and 70’s ended one war; let’s now end the war of injustice and racism against Black people and other people of color.
